Roofing Contractor in South Jordan, Utah
Dedication Roofing, a licensed roofing contractor, serves South Jordan from West Valley City, about twenty minutes south, and has worked across the Salt Lake Valley since 2017. We replace and repair residential shingle roofs, install flat and low-slope commercial roofs, respond to emergency leaks, and repair fascia, soffit and siding.
South Jordan has grown quickly, and much of its housing is newer, including the Daybreak community on the west side. Newer does not mean trouble-free. Builder-grade shingles, minimal attic ventilation and open exposure to the west mean wind and hail damage often show up sooner than owners expect.
Wind, Hail and HOA Rules in South Jordan
West of Bangerter Highway, South Jordan homes face open ground toward the Oquirrh Mountains, and afternoon wind and summer hail hit those roofs hard. Lifted or creased shingles, missing ridge caps and dented vents are the usual signs, and they are easy to miss from the ground. After a storm we inspect the roof, photograph every problem and give you the documentation your insurance company will ask for.
If your home is in an HOA, including Daybreak, the association usually controls shingle style and color and may require approval before work begins. We confirm the approved products with you, prepare the details the HOA needs for its review and schedule the job once approval is in hand.
On new roofs we install Malarkey shingle systems with matching starter and hip and ridge shingles, which raises the manufacturer’s wind warranty from 110 mph to 130 mph, along with the ice barrier and balanced attic ventilation that Utah’s residential code requires.
Flat Roofs for South Jordan Businesses
South Jordan’s commercial growth, from the shopping and dining around The District to offices and medical buildings across the city, has brought a lot of flat and low-slope roofing with it. That is Dedication Roofing’s specialty.
As an IB (Industry’s Best) certified applicator, we install membrane roofs to manufacturer specification, which qualifies the building for a 25-Year No Dollar Limit warranty: the manufacturer covers labor and materials on a covered defect with no dollar ceiling. We also repair existing membranes and apply protective coating systems where the roof can support them.
Fascia, Soffit and Siding Repair in South Jordan
Fascia, soffit and siding take the water a roof sheds, so they are often the first part of the exterior to show damage, especially where gutters overflow or ice builds up along the eave.
We repair and replace fascia, vented soffit and siding across South Jordan, matching HOA-approved colors and materials where required. Vented soffit is also the intake half of the attic ventilation system, so we keep it vented rather than swapping in solid panel. Most fascia and soffit work takes one to two days unless there is rot in the rafter tails behind the board.
Roofing in South Jordan means planning for wind, summer hail and winter snow. We handle roof repair, inspections, storm damage and full replacement for homes and commercial buildings. After a storm we document the damage, help with your insurance claim and tell you honestly whether repair or replacement makes more sense. Every estimate is free and in writing.
